Current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley ruined a WWE Hall of Famer's moment with a backstage attack on Collision. Moxley fled the arena following the assault.

The former WWE stars in question are none other than Cope (fka Edge) and FTR. The Rated-R Superstar made his return from injury after months at Worlds End 2024. After his in-ring comeback on Dynamite, Cope teamed up with Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood for a trios match against Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith in the main event of Collision.

At the end of a tremendous six-man encounter, Cope registered the win for his team with a Spear on Chris Jericho. After the main event, Jon Moxley appeared on the Titantron, and it was shown that The Death Riders had held the legendary tag team Rock 'n' Roll Express hostage backstage. The Moxley-led group also attacked The Outrunners when they tried to save the veterans.

Cope won his first match on Collision in months, but his moment was ruined by Moxley when he was interacting with fans. The Hall of Famer and FTR rushed backstage, but Moxley, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta had already left. Only time will tell whether Rated FTR can stop The Death Riders.
