Current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley's stablemate has been announced for a blockbuster return to a promotion after months. The star is set for a return outside Tony Khan's promotion later this month.

The star in question is none other than Marina Shafir. Marina made her AEW debut in 2021 but had an underwhelming singles run until now. She also had a run in the WWE from 2018 to 2020. The former Mixed Martial Artist recently aligned herself with Jon Moxley and is currently a part of The Deathriders faction.

Shafir and Moxley, alongside Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta, have been wreaking havoc on the AEW roster for several weeks. However, Marina has yet to wrestle on All Elite TV since her last match in December 2023. Nevertheless, Shafir has been announced for a return to GCW after 234 days.

Marina last wrestled on Game Changer Wrestling back in April. The 36-year-old star has been announced for a match against Jody Threat at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 12 event hosted by GCW on November 24.

Jon Moxley on the accusation of him insulting the AEW roster

Jon Moxley and The Deathriders have laid waste to a number of stars on the AEW roster since their formation, including Private Party, Dark Order, Top Flight, and so on. In an interview with the New York Post, Moxley explained that he is not insulting the roster by beating them up:

“I’m beating the s–t out of a lot of guys, you know, I’m talking a lot of s–t, but in no way am I beating up a bunch of lazy kids, like, I’m you know, Clint Eastwood on the lawn, or something like that,” Moxley said. “In no way is it like that. I’m an advocate for these people, and maybe the only guy standing up for these guys in the locker room.”

Moreover, Moxley, along with Marina Shafir and his other Deathriders, continue to wreak havoc on the All Elite roster, and it remains to be seen if Mox manages to retain his AEW World title against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear.
