Jon Moxley’s wife Renee Paquette provides personal update

AEW personality Renee Paquette, who is married to former World Champion Jon Moxley, recently provided an unfortunate personal update. The respected interviewer and announcer revealed that she had suffered an unexpected injury.

The Remarkable Renee Paquette has emerged as a prominent presence in the Jacksonville-based promotion since signing with AEW in 2022—three years after Jon Moxley debuted in the company—where she serves as a backstage interviewer and host. The 38-year-old personality recently provided a disappointing personal update on social media regarding her health.

Taking to X/Twitter, Paquette made the startling revelation that she had broken her finger.

The former Renee Young took to her Instagram story to provide additional context to her injury, explaining that she had sustained it towards the end of a recent workout. She noted having no feeling and/or movement in the damaged finger except around the bottom knuckle.

While she expressed some uncertainty as to whether the finger was broken or not, the dark coloration on it indicates her suspicion could be correct.

"Okay, let's talk the finger, my rigor mortis, dead finger. I was doing hip thrusts and I ejected the weight, thrusted it right off 'cause I was done, to have it land on my finger. I screamed. I think like maybe my bones got pulverized. I don't know, I can't, I can move like from the bottom knuckle, but there is no, nothing tapping in here. I don't know, maybe it's not broken, maybe I'm being a little b****, but it's like, look at that color. On the other side too, this finger was an innocent bystander during the whole thing..."

Paquette also revealed that the injury may put her out of commission until she completes the recovery process.

"And, yeah, guess what, I was finishing my workout to go and get my nails done, and just enjoy my day, and now I'm sitting here with this finger that, it's gonna take me down for the next however long. Having a finger injury ruins everything. I can't do anything normal until it's healed. Thank you."
