Jon Moxley suffers the same fate as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at AEW Worlds End 2024

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley found himself locked in a move similar to his former Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The familiar moment took place during the Worlds End 2024 pay-per-view.

Jon Moxley defended his AEW World Championship in the main event of Worlds End 2024 against Orange Cassidy, Jay White, and Hangman Page in a four-way match. After a brief encounter, Moxley managed to retain his world title with a little help from his Death Riders faction members, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and Marina Shafir.

After the match, fans witnessed the return of Adam Copeland (fka Edge) who showed up alongside FTR and went after Moxey. Copeland also put Moxley in a cross-face in his signature style with the iron rod across the world champion's mouth. It was later pointed out that Edge did the same with Mox's Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, during his time in WWE.

In a way, The Rated "R" Superstar completed the set by locking all three members of The Shield in the same submission with an iron rod. Moreover, Copeland kicked off the feud between RatedFTR and Death Riders after his return. Only time will tell what's next in the feud.
