A former WWE star might soon join Tony Khan's AEW. According to wrestling fans, Jon Moxley teased the arrival of the star in question on last night's Dynamite.

Shane McMahon has been rumored to join All Elite Wrestling for some time now. Earlier this year, it was reported that The Prodigal Son was no longer contracted to the Stamford-based promotion. Later, a picture from his secret meeting with Tony Khan went viral on social media. The 54-year-old was also recently spotted with The Young Bucks at an airport.

On this week's edition of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley and Co. once again attacked Bryan Danielson after the 43-year-old's victory over Kazuchika Okada in a Title vs. Title Match. Later, the erstwhile Dean Ambrose said that ''none of this was about him,'' which made fans wonder if The Deathrider was hinting at Shane's arrival in the company.

"You think any of this is about me? Let's get something through your simple-minded blueberry-picking little brain. None of this is about me. None of this is what I wanted. I'm planning for something much bigger than myself. Everything I'm gonna do is because I have to, because no one else will; no one else can. If any of this was about me, I'd have put you out of your misery years ago," Moxley told Bryan.

Fans believe that The Prodigal Son is the one who's pulling the strings, and The Purveyor of Violence is merely a puppet in the big game.

"Shane McMahon in an Eric Bischoff-style role and Jon Moxley in a 'Hollywood' Hogan-style role, minus the backstage politics," a fan wrote.
"So, is Jon Moxley referring to Shane McMahon possibly?'' a fan commented.
"It’s gotta be about Shane O’ Mac!" a fan claimed.

Wheeler Yuta saves Bryan Danielson from Jon Moxley's group

Last night, Bryan Danielson defeated Kazuchika Okada in a singles match to retain his AEW World Championship. Following the match, The Rainmaker attacked The American Dragon.

Bryan was then ambushed by Moxley, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Marina Shafir before Wheeler Yuta came to his rescue. Yuta showed his allegiance to Danielson, and the two will take on Claudio and PAC next week on Dynamite: Title Tuesday.

It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds next week.
