Current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley surprisingly appeared on Collision and tried to break a WWE Hall of Famer's neck. The angle unfolded following the main event of the show.
Jon Moxley almost broke WWE legend Cope's (fka Edge) neck on the latest episode of AEW Collision. In the main event of the show, Chris Jericho squared off against Dax Harwood of FTR. After Jericho secured the win, Big Bill and Bryan Keith launched an attack on Harwood.
Cope and Cash Wheeler came to Harwood's rescue, and later The Death Riders and The Outrunners also got involved in a chaotic brawl. In a surprising moment, Jon Moxley showed up and took out The Rated-R Superstar. Moxley also attempted to break the Hall of Famer's neck with a Con-Chair-To. Thankfully, Powerhouse Hobbs came in for the save.
Powerhouse Hobbs also forced Moxley to retreat as he slammed Wheeler Yuta through the announcers table. The upstart is slated to challenge Moxley for the AEW World Title on Wednesday's Dynamite.
The storyline involving The Death Riders and Rated FTR will likely continue after what went down on Collision. It remains to be seen which side will gain the upper hand in the heated rivalry.
