AEW and WWE fans continue to make Kayla Braxton a trending topic. The soon-to-be-former SmackDown star recently addressed rumors following her big announcement. Now she is firing back at another star to kick off what looks to be a big week for her career.
Braxton recently announced that she is leaving WWE. Her last day will be Friday's SmackDown at Madison Square Garden. It was reported that the 33-year-old has had secret talks with AEW, but she has dismissed the rumors. Her denial led to a shot from AEW on-air talent RJ City.
WWE's former "SmackDown LowDown" host has now responded to City, who thanked God that Braxton is not planning on becoming one of his co-workers. Braxton fired back and branded City a "creep" in her response:
"What I meant to say, was I wouldn't leave to go be within 10 feet of this creep @RJCity1," Kayla Braxton wrote.
AEW's "Hey! (EW)" host immediately wrote back, knocking Braxton for her social media skills, or lack thereof:
"Thanks for directly replying and then also tagging me. You've still got it," RJ City wrote.
Braxton then ended the exchange with a brief four-word reply.
"The internet is hard @RJCity1," Kayla Braxton wrote.
RJ has not responded to Kayla's last tweet as of this writing. The two have had social media exchanges in the past, but it's not clear if they are actually friends.
