AEW star Keith Lee just sent a message to Mia Yim after a major announcement on NXT tonight. This was regarding the newly unveiled NXT Women's North American Championship.
The Limitless star is a former NXT Men's North American Champion, holding the title for 175 days back in 2020. Earlier tonight, the women's version of the title was unveiled by rapper Sexyy Red, who was a guest on the show. It was also revealed that the inaugural champion would be crowned at NXT Battleground.
On Twitter, Mia Yim noted her desire to become the champion. She mentioned how her husband was one of the previous holders of the Men's North American Championship, and she wanted to become Mrs. North American Champion.
"The assignment. @RealKeithLee was Mr. North American Champion. Time for me to be Mrs. North American Champion. #Yimitless #WWENXT," Yim tweeted.

Keith Lee would reply and seemingly give her advice. He told her she should not give away the championship like he did, referencing how he relinquished his title after becoming the NXT Champion.
"Just don't give it away like I did," the AEW star replied.
Why did Keith Lee relinquish the NXT North American Championship?
In January 2020, Keith Lee dethroned Roderick Strong to become the new NXT North American Champion.
In July of that year, he was in a feud with the leader of the Undisputed Era, Adam Cole, who was the NXT Champion at the time. Eventually, a title vs. title between the two took place at the Great American Bash, and Lee took all the gold, ending Cole's 396-day reign as the champion, which still stands as the longest in the title's history.
A few weeks later, he revealed that he would relinquish the North American Championship to devote all his time and energy to defending the NXT Title. He also wished to give others a chance to become the champion.
His reign as the NXT Champion only lasted 44 days, as he would eventually fall to Karrion Kross. Lee would not win any more titles on the brand since.
