Kenny Omega is undoubtedly among the most talented wrestlers today. Unfortunately, he is currently sidelined due to a health issue. Amid his hiatus, he engaged in a brawl with a popular talent.
Before becoming a top name in AEW, Kenny Omega was signed to NJPW. During his time in Japan, he won the IWGP Heavyweight, the IWGP Intercontinental, and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championships. The Cleaner is adored by Japanese fans.
Omega recently made an appearance at the 2024 NJPW Power Struggle pay-per-view. During the event, he announced that he would face a young talent (a young lion) from the company at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025. After his announcement, when The Best Bout Machine reached backstage, he was attacked by the reigning NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabriel Kidd.

For those unaware, Kidd is a member of the immensely popular stable, Bullet Club. Several years ago, Omega was the leader of the faction.
Kenny Omega gave an insight into how AEW operates backstage
Kenny Omega is one of the EVPs of All Elite Wrestling alongside Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, and Michael Mansury.
In a recent interview uploaded on NJPW's YouTube channel, Omega shed light on how All Elite Wrestling operated backstage.
"I'm at the arena days before trying to figure out, 'How are we gonna make this work? How do we make this guy's entrance work? How do we make sure all of the entrance videos are formatted? How do we make sure that the extras and the talents are fed? How do we make sure that they're healthy? How do we make sure that we keep them healthy? What do we do if something goes wrong?'"
It remains to be seen when The Best Bout Machine will make his return to AEW. A lot has changed in the company in Omega's absence, with The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club wreaking havoc.
