During the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega made his long-awaited return to the company after being medically cleared to compete. However, things went in an odd direction after The Best Bout Machine poured his heart out to the fans.

Omega was fresh off displaying his in-ring prowess in his return match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Wrestle Dynasty a few days ago. The Cleaner received a huge ovation from the audience. Kenny took the microphone to make his first address in AEW after his spectacular return at the Worlds End pay-per-view.

Kenny Omega began by reflecting back on his battle with Diverticulitis that kept him away from the ring and posed a major threat to his life. Sadly, the doctor told him that he would be lucky if he even managed to return to a normal life, let alone wrestle again upon asking about his recovery timeline.

While Omega contemplated giving up on making his in-ring return, he fought his way back, which led to his spectacular comeback in the ring at NJPW Wrestle Dynasty. However, Kenny's passionate promo was interrupted by the arrival of the man who betrayed him, Don Callis.

Kenny Omega went right after Callis, only to be attacked by the trio of The Don Callis Family members, Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, and Lance Archer. But in a surprise turn of events, Omega's old rival, Will Ospreay, charged to the ring with a steel chair to assist Omega against the same people who betrayed him as the show came to an end with old foes in an intense staredown.
