Kenny Omega made a massive claim while recently talking about his AEW return.
The former AEW World Champion is one of the top stars on the roster. He is known for his unique skillset and agility. He hasn't been on AEW television since December 2023, when he suffered from diverticulitis. Since then, he has been usually streaming on Twitch and has updated on his health occasionally.
During his absence, The Young Bucks kicked him out of the Elite and welcomed Kazuchika Okada and seemingly Jack Perry, too, after helping The Young Bucks to retain at Dynasty. Also, they have been abusing their power as EVPs for months now
Recently, AEW announced his return for the May 1 edition of Dynamite. He will be returning to Jacksonville after more than four months. The upcoming Dynamite is held in Kenny's hometown, Winnipeg. Currently, no update on whether he is medically clear has been provided.
While speaking on his Twitch stream, the Cleaner said that he is ready to get physical and that he could outwork other stars on the roster despite not being 100 percent.
“I’m not afraid to get physical if it comes down to it I guess. Live I said, I’ve trained hard. On a rudimentary level, on a very basic level i’m in pretty good shape. At least in a gym I think I could outwork a lot of dudes right now on a roster, even in this condition,” he said. [H/T via Twitter]
