Wrestling veteran Konnan claims Jon Moxley should have lost his match against Darby Allin at AEW Grand Slam 2024. Moxley has been causing havoc in All Elite Wrestling ever since his return a couple of weeks ago.

At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Darby Allin put his World Title shot on the line against Jon Moxley and was unsuccessful in defending it. Jon Moxley emerged victorious and is set to challenge his former Blackpool Combat Club stablemate, Bryan Danielson for his AEW World Championship at WrestleDream 2024.

On the recent edition of his Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan questioned why Jon Moxley went over Darby Allin at Grand Slam. He called Allin the most interesting guy on the show and noted how Mox should have taken the loss.

"This match, I don't know why Darby [Allin] who to me is the future of the company, he lost to [Jon] Moxley. Moxley could've taken the loss, helped keep making Darby so I don't know why Darby who's probably the most to me, the most interesting guy on the show had to take that loss." [From 29:34 to 29:54]

Matt Morgan doesn't get Jon Moxley's new AEW character

Ever since Jon Moxley returned to All Elite Wrestling he has been teasing a big change in the landscape of the company. However, WWE veteran Matt Morgan recently spoke about Moxley's new persona and had some interesting comments.

In a recent chat on the Gigantic Pop podcast, Morgan stated that he doesn't understand what Jon Moxley's character is supposed to be.

"I don't... You had to tell me. Others had to tell me, others had to tell me what it was. I didn't understand it. It's based off some show or movie I never heard of or saw, so I didn't get it... I still don't get it," said Morgan.

Jon Moxley is set to face Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Title at WrestleDream. It will be interesting to see if the company puts the title on the former WWE Superstar.
