Wrestling veteran Konnan shut down rumors of a three-time champion heading to AEW. This will no doubt come as a surprise given that this star has been seen in the company a few times.
The star in question is none other than Vikingo. The Mexican star is a top name in Lucha Libre, where he was the longest-reigning AAA Mega Champion. He has also won a host of other titles in the company. He occasionally makes appearances in AEW.
On his K100 podcast, Konnan was asked whether three-time AAA champion Vikingo was on his way to Tony Khan’s promotion. He dismissed the suggestion by pointing out how other Mexican stars have been booked and used there.
“Rush, Penta, Fenix, Komander. What Mexican talent is really used well that you would wanna sign there? Enough said. That is a hard no,” he said. [37:47 - 38:07]

Konnan thinks Chris Jericho will leave AEW and go back to WWE
Chris Jericho is the current FTW Champion and constantly finds ways to keep himself relevant despite his advancing years.
He is catching on in age, and Konnan believes he will leave AEW and return to WWE. He also said the right thing would be for Y2J to get a Hall of Fame induction. Speaking on a previous episode of his K100 podcast, he said:
"So, he'll [Chris Jericho] take all that money as long as he can and still get a [WWE] Hall of Fame [induction]. I mean, that's where he needs to retire. That's [who] made him who he is today, and they do it right."
If and when that happens, then the fans cannot hold a grudge against Chris Jericho. He has given his all to Tony Khan’s wrestling promotion. That being said, he would also love to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
