Konnan urged a top AEW star to return to WWE. The star in question is a former five-time World Champion in the Stamford-based promotion.
Bryan Danielson was an indie darling when he made his WWE debut during the first season of NXT. Despite his small stature, Danielson managed to prove his haters wrong and win the World Heavyweight Championship, He then went on to win several World Titles during his run with the company.
Despite the success he achieved in the Stamford-based promotion, he left the company to join AEW in a surprising move. Since his arrival in AEW, Bryan Danielson has been involved in some notable feuds and put on some stunning matches. However, he still hasn't won a title in the promotion, leaving many to question his booking.
Speaking on his Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan suggested that Danielson should leave AEW once his contract expired and return home to WWE, where he would be welcomed back with open arms and also taken good care of. The veteran also felt that it was a no-brainer when it came to choosing between the global juggernaut and the indie scene and drew an interesting analogy.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"I think if he went back home it would be a big deal because he's Bryan Danielson and they always, you know, they'll accept him back and they'll have good matches and take care of him. Here, it's super indies! If he doesn't take care of himself, they don't give! You know! It's like, it's just, you know, it's the New York Yankees and the Oakland A's which one do you want to work for?" he stated. [1:02 - 1:22]

Konnan feels that it's difficult to work with Tony Khan
Ever since its inception, AEW has forged relationships with other promotions such as AAA, Arena Mexico, CMLL, NJPW, etc. However, it might not be easy to do business with the All Elite Wrestling boss.
Speaking on his Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan revealed that it is difficult to work with Tony Khan because in his experience the latter just kept pulling his stars out of AAA shows at the last minute, which he also noted was not something Khan was doing with Arena Mexico.
"We’ve been selling out everywhere. We don’t even need AEW, and they’re expensive and it’s hard to deal with them because they pull 'em out at the last minute. I see they haven’t had that problem with Arena Mexico. Whether he’s trying to stick it up…because I don’t put over his thing or he’s just having a good business relationship and it’s easier to work with them, I have no idea," Konnan said.
