A wrestling legend has just broken his silence about some issues that he encountered during his recent appearance on AEW Collision. He talked about the whole situation in detail in his recent post. This would be Ultimo Guerrero from CMLL.

The legendary luchador was on the show to take on Kazuchika Okada in a Continental Championship Eliminator match. Despite a great showing from Ultimo, The Rainmaker ended up taking the win but not before he seemingly disrespected the veteran, unmasking him twice.

On Facebook, Ultimo Guerrero revealed that he did not know that he had to wrestle with a mask, seeing as has not been using one for some time now. This miscommunication required an AEW staff to create a mask an hour before the match. There was no frustration on Guerrero's side as he expressed his utmost respect to that staff member for pulling it off in a short amount of time.

It is also important to note that before the show, Ultimo Guerrero was advertised as wearing a mask as seen from the match graphics made to promote the contest. This seems more like a miscommunication from both sides than an intentional act.

Some major CMLL names set to face top AEW stars at Forbidden Door

Next week, one of the most highly-awaited pay-per-views of the year will be taking place, this being Forbidden Door. This was previously a crossover event only between AEW and NJPW, but this year stars from CMLL and STARDOM will also be featured during the event.

CMLL stars Stephanie Vaquer and Hechicero are set for singles competition at the event. Vaquer is set to take on Mercedes Moné with both the NJPW Strong Women's Championship and the TBS Championship on the line in a title-for-title match.

Hechicero on the other hand is set to take on MJF after the Cage of Agony dropped a challenge. The luchador is looking to play spoiler after just a month since Friedman made his return to the company.

With this being the last week before the event, there could end up being a few last-minute matches added to the card, and it remains to be seen whether there could be more CMLL stars who will be featured at the star-studded event.
