A legend confirmed that he held talks with WWE about joining the recently debuted Wyatt Sicks faction. He also teased a blockbuster involvement with the group.
Matt Hardy is one of the greatest tag team wrestlers who made a name for himself alongside his brother Jeff Hardy. Together, they gained popularity in WWE's tag team division during the early 2000s. Following their exit from the company, Matt Hardy went to TNA Wrestling where he reinvented himself with his broken Matt Hardy gimmick.
After an impressive run in TNA, The Hardy Boyz returned to the Stamford-based promotion. However, Matt wasn't allowed to use his Broken Matt Hardy character just yet. After several months, Hardy was able to bring that gimmick into the Stamford-based promotion during his feud with Bray Wyatt. The two men had a stellar feud before they eventually formed a tag team together.
Now that WWE has managed to bring forth the Wyatt Sicks faction, Matt Hardy revealed on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast that he was in talks with the Stamford-based promotion to join the creepy new faction. He even teased that he might be involved with the faction down the line owing to his history with Wyatt.

“The group was established,” Matt said. “But there were some conversations that I took part in that maybe down the road there might be something, especially because of my history with Bray.” [H/T WrestleZone]
WWE legend Matt Hardy feels energized in TNA
After Matt Hardy left AEW, he went on to compete in TNA Wrestling. Even his brother Jeff Hardy joined TNA to help him fight off The System at Against All Odds recently.
During the same episode of the podcast, Hardy confirmed that he and Jeff were free agents. He admitted that he feels energized in TNA and that he and his brother had agreed with the promotion to do certain appearances for a few months. He noted that there was every possibility they might extend their agreement to stay with the promotion longer, should all things go well.
“We’re both free agents. We don’t have any contract,” Matt confirmed. “We’re just doing TNA per appearance right now, and we’ve agreed to work with them for a couple of months, and then we’re not opposed to extending that. If they wanted to offer something, we would have a conversation with them. Because it’s been really good. I’ve really enjoyed my time there, and it’s been fun, and I feel energized. It’s nice because I feel utilized, I feel optimized.” [H/T: WrestleZone]
Given WWE's recent partnership with TNA, it's not too far-fetched to think that Matt Hardy could be involved in a storyline involving Wyatt Sicks in the future.
