Fans on the internet have reacted to a WWE personality reportedly having talks with AEW. Kayla Braxton recently announced that she will be officially leaving the global juggernaut after a lengthy tenure.

Braxton has been a fan-favorite backstage interviewer in WWE for the past several years. She will make her last on-screen appearance for the company on the upcoming episode of SmackDown, which will emanate from MSG. Meanwhile, fans have been speculating whether she would join AEW in the future.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently noted that Kayla Braxton has had talks with the Tony Khan-led promotion, besides considering other opportunities.

"It might be AEW, it might not. There definitely was talk between her and AEW. She was looking to [sic] other things as well. It was one of those things, I was told she could see the writing on the wall. They pretty much decided that Cathy Kelley and Jackie Redmond were gonna be the top two ones. So she was number three so I think by that she kind of could see maybe it's time to go somewhere else."

Many fans on X/Twitter were hopeful to see Braxton in All Elite Wrestling after her exit from the Triple H-led company. One user even speculated that the 33-year-old might join The Elite in some capacity.

WWE star's reaction to Kayla Braxton leaving the company

After Kayla Braxton announced that she would be departing from WWE, RAW Superstar Zelina Vega sent her a heartfelt message.

On X/Twitter, Vega thanked Braxton with the following tweet:

"Guess I can finally admit it… ily 🫶 thank you for everything."

Kayla Braxton has been part of WWE for nearly eight years. She joined the company in 2016 as a host and a ring announcer. The 33-year-old has shared the screen with many top names, including Paul Heyman, in recent times.
