An AEW faction is seemingly on the verge of collapse, as the split has been teased on the most recent episode of Collision. The group has been active for the past few months.
The major AEW faction in question is the group of Top Flight, Action Andretti, Leila Grey, and Lio Rush. The stars in the group have been very good friends for a while now, but consecutive losses have started to show cracks in the friendship. Meanwhile, the faction seems to be on the verge of split.
On the most recent Collision episode, Top Flight had a heated backstage confrontation with Lio Rush and Action Andretti. Although Leila Grey tried to intervene, things got out of hand. Andretti and Rush also called out Top Flight to meet them in the ring before leaving, teasing a civil war.
Moreover, Lio Rush perhaps still has the offer to join The Hurt Syndicate as he recently showcased MVP's business card, which he still had. Lio also recently teased joining MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin in the Syndicate with a backstage promo.
Overall, it seems Lio Rush's journey with Top Flight is all but finished, and fans will have to wait to see if he joins The Hurt Syndicate.
