Hangman Page had several enemies arrayed against him on the most recent episode of AEW Collision. However, he might have made a few more during the proceedings.
Juice Robinson and The Bang Bang Gang (minus Jay White) were ringside for Hangman Page's Lumberjack Strap match against Jeff Jarrett this past Saturday night. Juice was hilariously dressed as a lumberjack, and his faction was checking on Double J after Page's victory.
However, Hangman wouldn't allow any sympathy for Jarrett. The former AEW World Champion attacked The Bang Bang Gang, then threw Juice Robinson over the top rope and tried to hang him with a leather strap.
Juice was fired up afterward, and when AEW's camera crew caught up to him and The Gunns, he went off on Hangman Adam Page. Check it out:
"I did exactly what I was supposed to do," Juice Robinson said. "I whooped your a** right when I was asked to! And what'd you do, huh? You put this around my neck, and you threw me over the top rope! You wanna hang me, Hangman? Well you done messed up, cowboy. You stupid son of a b**ch!" [From 0:10 to 0:26]
Switchblade Jay White is reportedly set to return to action soon. Could this be a setup for White to feud with Hangman? Only time will tell.
Swerve Strickland predicts Hangman Page might be AEW World Champion again
Hangman Page won the AEW World Championship back in November 2021. Since losing the title to CM Punk the following year at Double or Nothing, fans have anticipated The Cowboy becoming the top champion once again.
Despite their brutal and extremely personal feud recently wrapping up, Swerve Strickland has predicted that Hangman might hold the gold again someday soon. In a recent conversation with The Breakfast Club, Swerve was asked what he wanted more: his title back or revenge against Page. Strickland claimed he might just get both at the same time:
"Maybe one day, it might be one in the same because Hangman is on a streak right now, he’s on a warpath. In a lot of ways, him pressing me has made him better. I brought out something great in him that, eventually, with my absence, he'll probably be a World Champion again. Maybe at that time I’ll get both: my get-back, and the World Championship."
For now, Swerve Strickland is taking a well-deserved break from television. However, the newly-debuted MVP seems to have his eye on the former World Champion.
