After their match earlier tonight on Collision, Samoa Joe and several other AEW stars took the fight to a certain former AEW Champion and his faction, even going as far as attempting to injure one of them. This would be Chris Jericho and The Learning Tree.
Tonight on Collision, Jericho, alongside Big Bill, took on Private Party in tag team action. This feud occurred after the tag team rejected his offer to mentor them.
Despite holding their own for the majority of the match, they eventually fell to The Learning Tree after Bryan Keith interfered with a blindside attack, giving Chris Jericho a chance to win. After the match, Jericho and Bill started to attack Private Party until they were interrupted by Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata.
They stormed into the ring, with the former WWE Superstar hitting a low blow on Big Bill. Shibata, on the other hand, pulled Keith into the center of the ring and tried to injure his arm. In the midst of all of this, Jericho slipped out and ran away to ringside and he could only watch the rest of his stablemates get dismantled.
Samoa Joe then got a mic and dropped a challenge for a trios match at Forbidden Door pay-per-view against whoever was left of Chris Jericho's Learning Tree.
