Jon Moxley has gotten into a fight with a multi-time world champion following tonight's opening segment on the Dynamite before Forbidden Door. This would be Tetsuya Naito.
Moments ago, Moxley, along with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta of The Blackpool Combat Club, took on Titan, Shingo Takagi, and Hiromu Takahashi of Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) in trios action. Tony Khan made this match official last night.
This comes a few days before the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, where Jon Moxley will face the leader of LIJ, Tetsuya Naito, in a match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. On the other hand, Shingo Takagi is set to face Bryan Danielson at the pay-per-view.
After a high-action trios contest, Mox took matters into his own hands and grabbed a steel chair to strike Takahashi, causing them to lose by disqualification. This may have been a pre-meditated room, as after causing chaos post-match, he was able to bring Tetsuya Naito out.
Despite the brawl taking place in the ring, Naito took his sweet time to walk down the ramp and take off his jacket, forcing Jon Moxley to go up to him instead and begin a brawl between them from the ramp to backstage.
The two men will have more opportunities to dish out pain to each other this weekend at Forbidden Door.
