A major heel turn has seemingly been hinted at on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. The star who could be turning to the dark side is none other than Max Caster.

The October 16, 2024, edition of Dynamite aired a backstage interview featuring The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Following their victory over MxM at WrestleDream 2024, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were asked by Renee Paquette what lies next for them in the Tony Khan-led company. Max Caster responded by stating that he and Anthony Bowens "want more," possibly suggesting their renewed focus on chasing All Elite gold.
The two men were, however, interrupted by newly-signed AEW stars Shelton Benjamin and MVP, with the latter handing Caster a business card and asking the duo to reach out to him when they were prepared to "be serious." Interestingly, though Bowens explicitly turned down what many think will be the eventual Hurt Syndicate faction, Caster was seen pocketing the card, suggesting that the self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive could be considering taking up the offer of the former WWE Superstars.

It remains to be seen whether Max Caster's partnership with The Scissor King will soon come to an end, or whether The Acclaimed will be feuding with the MVP-led faction moving forward.
