Malakai Black has revealed major reason why he lost eight pounds. This might shock the fans.
The former WWE star has not been in singles action in the AEW ring since May. His last appearance came at Double or Nothing, where he lost to Adam Copeland and was unsuccessful in his bid to win the TNT Championship. It has now been revealed what he has been up to, which resulted in him losing eight pounds.
As shocking as it may seem, Malakai Black has revealed that the reason for his weight loss is that he has been traveling for four weeks. He posted a picture of himself on Instagram stories and wrote:
“Lost 8lbs fom UK/OHIO/TRAVEL 4 weeks long. Getting everything back in order, starting from 200.3lbs.”
Adam Copeland praises Malakai Black
As noted, Malakai Black was last seen competing in a singles match when he took on Adam Copeland at AEW Double or Nothing. It was a great match, but Copeland’s injury overshadowed the result.
The WWE Hall of Famer and Black had a rivalry that lasted for a while, and there were many mind games. He has spoken highly of Black and said that he was the guy that he wanted to wrestle.
He was giving an interview with Sports Illustrated when he said:
“House of Black brings so much to the table; their whole presentation is so cool! Tommy [Black] and I have talked about getting in there together for years. He’s one of the guys I really wanted to wrestle. The chemistry was there. It was fun. Early on, I could tell it was going to be a great night. I was happy with it. It would have sucked had I not been able to finish the match. I’d have a different view on it if that were the case. I’m proud of our full story!”
Adam Copeland seems to have great memories of the match despite suffering an injury. It should be good to see him and Black locking horns in AEW soon.
