The fans further reacted to the clip stating that MJF should be banned from professional wrestling.
However, some other fans explained how it is the only thing that draws heat among the Mexican fans and MJF was only playing his character.
"chill out it's old school heat it's a joke like there's not a single person watching that would actually be offended by that," a fan tweeted.
"Mexico is different. This is what draws heat there," another tweeted.
"It is called KAYFABE ... cmll & aaa both portray many wrestlers from US & other countries they bring in, as anti- mexican heels," this fan explained.
MJF has been a controversial figure in the past few days due to his reported backstage controversy with Britt Baker. It will be interesting to see if All Elite Wrestling takes action on the matter.
MJF opens up on renewing his contract with AEW instead of signing with WWE
Ever since MJF got the limelight by showcasing his heel character in All Elite Wrestling, many have wondered when the latter will show up in WWE. Friedman has also been open about his desire to join WWE one day, however, he surprisingly signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling recently.
In an interview with FOX 5, former AEW World Champion MJF revealed that it was an easy decision to stay in All Elite Wrestling as CEO Tony Khan is paying him exceptionally well. He further put over the Jacksonville-based promotion claiming that it is where the best wrestle.
"Look, it was a very easy decision for me, mainly because Tony Khan is paying me an exorbitant amount of money. But outside of that, I also, I believe in AEW, I believe that is where the best wrestle, I believe that we have some of the most top-tier elite talent you get to see in the world today."
MJF is the current AEW American Champion and is set to defend his title against the Aerial Assassin Will Ospreay at All In PPV in Wembley Stadium on August 25th. It will be interesting to see if Friedman retains his title.
