A top AEW star recently responded to Mariah May's shocking comments about her. The star being discussed is Mercedes Mone.

The TBS Champion is often regarded as the top female wrestler in the business. She is currently a double champion with the NJPW Strong Women's Championship and has been delivering top-notch matches since her arrival in March 2024. However, the reigning AEW Women's World Champion recently criticized her.

While speaking in a recent interview, Mariah May blamed the TBS Champion for not helping the younger generation and spending time in her locker room. She also despised Mercedes Mone for focusing more on her newsletter, Mone Mag.

While speaking on the recent edition of Mone Mag, The CEO took a shot at Glamour's past, where she used to promote pro wrestling merchandise. Mercedes Mone then offered her the opportunity to work as a 'shop girl' for her website.

Mariah May recently defeated Mina Shirakawa

The reigning AEW Women's World Champion betrayed her longtime friend Mina Shirakawa a few weeks ago. The duo was set to Collide on 'the Winter Is Coming' edition of Dynamite.

The stars put on a fantastic show in the show's main event. Ultimately, the Glamour retained but was appalled to see her old rival, Toni Storm, return seconds after the contest.

It will be interesting to see if Mercedes and Mariah collide in the future.
