AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May recently reacted to the news of Bryan Danielson's match being made official for Dynamite Grand Slam 2024. The American Dragon's opponent will be none other than Nigel McGuinness.
The former ROH World Champion made a shocking return to the ring in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In. However, fans pointed out that the kiss he received from Mariah May at the event was the reason behind his return and the major challenge he made on the recent Dynamite.
Last night on AEW Dynamite, Nigel McGuinness challenged Bryan Danielson to a match at Dynamite: Grand Slam at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 25th.
On X/Twitter, Mariah May reacted to AEW's official post about the clash between Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson at Grand Slam. The Glamour seemingly took all the credit for the upcoming dream match.

Bully Ray explains how AEW should book Bryan Danielson's return after heartbreaking spot at All Out
Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC turned on Bryan Danielson at All Out after Claudio hit The American Dragon with an uppercut. Jon Moxley proceeded to beat up his former friend and suffocate him with a plastic bag.
However, Bully Ray has an issue with how Jon Moxley explained his actions on Dynamite. On the recent edition of Busted Open, Bully Ray noted that Moxley didn't mention the plastic bag spot on the show. He said that when Bryan makes his return, he should go after Jon Moxley, or the plastic bag spot at All Out wouldn't make sense.
"If Danielson shows up for this match and never goes back after Moxley when Moxley tried to kill him, are we just going to forget about that? Tonight, we got the challenge from Nigel. We were never really reminded of the plastic bag unless they showed it really quickly in the Moxley package... If AEW never goes back to that moment in time, if Danielson never looks for a receipt, if Danielson never tries to go after Moxley for what he did, then the plastic bag was a spot for the sake of a spot and done for no good reason," claimed Bully Ray. While Bryan Danielson is set to face Nigel McGuinness at Dynamite: Grand Slam, we will have to wait and see if The American Dragon is 100 percent at the show.
