Mariah May has directed a non-PG message at a male AEW star and former champion on social media. The latter, Anthony Bowens, is one half of The Acclaimed.
The Glamour is on a roll after dethroning Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In 2024. She has since successfully defended her title against the likes of Nyla Rose and Yuka Sakazaki on Dynamite, and beat stars like Queen Aminata and Lady Frost in eliminator matches on television as well.
Last month, May defeated Willow Nightingale to retain her belt at WrestleDream 2024. She suffered an unexpected loss a few days later, however, as she was beaten by Anna Jay in an eliminator match at Battle of the Belts XII. The two women are scheduled to face off for the AEW Women's World Title this week on Collision.
The Fighting Princess had recently taken to X/Twitter to share photographs of what appears to be her cosplaying as Buzz Lightyear. In response, former All Elite World Tag Team Champion Anthony Bowens made a bold pun on the name of another Toy Story character, Woody, which led to Mariah May sending The Scissor King a decidedly non-PG request.

"sTFU and put your snake in my boot already," wrote May.

May is notorious for comically flirting with Bowens on social media. The latter, however, is married to YouTuber Michael Pavano, whom he has been with since 2017.
Mariah May lashed out at AEW for leaving her out of a pay-per-view poster
Some time ago, the official X/Twitter handle of All Elite Wrestling shared a poster for the promotion's upcoming pay-per-view, Full Gear 2024. The event is scheduled to air from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on November 23.
The poster in question featured a number of top stars of the Jacksonville-based promotion, including Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy - who will clash for the AEW World Championship - as well as the World Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and PAC. Other major names who featured on the poster include Swerve Strickland, Hangman Page, Will Ospreay, Marina Shafir, Kris Statlander, and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone.
Curiously, Mariah May did not feature on the aforementioned poster promoting Full Gear. The reigning All Elite Wrestling Women's World Champion was quick to call out the company over the omission, taking to X/Twitter to write:
"why am I not on the poster? I’m the world champion and also better looking than everyone here."
It remains to be seen whether May will be added to the card for Full Gear moving forward.
