Mark Henry is still making strides in the world of professional wrestling. The World's Strongest Man has just been announced as the CEO of a major promotion.

All Caribbean Wrestling (ACW) is an up-and-coming wrestling promotion that started in 2022. The company has been making waves in independent wrestling and has recruited some major talent over the years. ACW has put together an impressive roster that includes Elijah Burke, Tito Colada, JTG, Mark Henry, Patrick Clark Jr., Kenny King, Red Velvet, and many more. As the promotion enters its third year, it has made a huge announcement.

ACW has put out a press release, announcing that Mark Henry will be the CEO of the promotion. The former WWE World Champion, who departed AEW after a three-year stint in May 2024, is expected to lead the company into this new era as it continues to grow its global presence.

"All Caribbean Wrestling [ACW] is proud to announce that WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. A titan in the world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment, Henry’s unparalleled experience and vision mark a transformative era for ACW, as it continues to grow its global presence," the statement read. Mark Henry explains why he left WWE for AEW

Mark Henry made a name for himself in WWE, where he wrestled for several years. He was one of their top stars for several decades. Hence, it was surprising when the 53-year-old showed up in AEW in 2021. He was a member of the commentary team for Rampage and took on a backstage role in Tony Khan's promotion.

Speaking on the Attitude Era podcast, The World's Strongest Man said that he wanted to be an executive in WWE but claimed the company would have never hired him for that role.

"I never went back and forth. I left [WWE] after I retired. I wanted to be more on the executive side; they wouldn't hire me on the executive side. I didn't have enough experience, [and] the technical education, and going to AEW proved that I knew what I was doing. I was helping other people at WWE with their jobs. People were like, 'Hey, man, can you help me with this?' I was always helping. When it came to scouting, I could see something and go, 'That's not right. Fix that, fix that,' and then it was good," he said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]

It will be interesting to see if Henry flourishes in his new role as CEO of All Caribbean Wrestling.
