An AEW official called out the WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry on social media for his comments on a recent viral spot. The viral spot took place at the recent All Out pay-per-view.
The AEW personality in question is referee Bryce Remsberg. Bryce has been going viral on social media seemingly due to a mistake at the recent All Out pay-per-view. During the All Elite world title match between Bryan Danielson and Jack Perry, Bryce was the referee, and he seemingly signaled Perry to kick out during a pinfall.
The clip went viral and the WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry took notice of it on the 'X' social media platform. Henry was signed to AEW as a backstage coach and trainer before his departure earlier this year as well. Mark wrote the following while reacting to the viral clip of Bryce Remsberg:
"I’m not commenting. I’ll be called a hater."
Interestingly, Bryce Remsberg noticed the comment by Mark Henry and reacted to it by clarifying what was wrong in the viral clip. Bryce wrote the following addressing Henry:
"Hey Mark! This angle doesn’t show exactly what happened. You were always so nice to me backstage at AEW and I constantly helped you with your travel whenever I could. If you think something is wonky, feel free to reach out directly whenever."
Mark Henry took a pay cut to work in AEW
The WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry joined AEW back in 2021 in a backstage role and departed the promotion earlier this year. Speaking on the Huge Pop podcast recently, Henry revealed he took a pay cut to work for Tony Khan's promotion:
"I took a pay cut to go work at AEW. Don’t get it twisted. I went there because I wanted to get experience being an executive and I wanted to help that company flourish and help those people that were over there be better than they were," Henry disclosed.
Moreover, only time will tell what the future has in store for Henry after his AEW departure.
