A massive AEW star who joined the promotion earlier this year has been endorsed by Matt Jackson. The Elite member believes he will become AEW World Champion.

Kazuchika Okada made a name for himself in NJPW, where he established himself as the company's biggest star in just a few years. During his time with the company, he elevated the IWGP Heavyweight Championship to new heights and put on some of the best matches in the promotion's history.

However, when his contract was up, he chose to leave NJPW and signed with All Elite Wrestling. Since joining Tony Khan's promotion, Okada has aligned himself with The Elite and even won the Continental Championship. Given his impressive list of accolades, it should come as no surprise that even Matt Jackson endorses him.

During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Matt Jackson mentioned that Kazuchika Okada will win the AEW World Championship.

“I feel like Okada is definitely a future (AEW) world champion and it would elevate the title to new heights. Nobody does big matches better than him. Nobody has more aura than him.”

Jim Cornette believes Tony Khan was scared that the Young Bucks would leave AEW for WWE

The Young Bucks re-signed with All Elite Wrestling late last year, and according to reports, their new contracts allow them to work limited dates. As a result, the Bucks haven't been seen on television as frequently as before.

Speaking on his The Experience podcast, Jim Cornette mentioned that Tony Khan was afraid to lose the Young Bucks to WWE and offered them what they wanted.

"Guess what? If you’re an Executive Vice President or any kind of wrestling booker or promoter in a real company, you don’t get days off. Forget that; when everybody else is off, you’re on. As Ole Anderson used to say, wrestlers show up and wrestle if booked, and if not, they’re off. I think some people might think differently, but with these two who have everything handed to them, Tony Khan was scared they’d go to WWE. He should have let them because it would have removed a drag on his ratings and all those crummy TV segments."
