The TBS Championship match between Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander at AEW Worlds End PPV created history. Both women had a strong showing no matter what the result was of the contest.
Kris Statlander has had Mercedes Mone's number for the past few months. She has been aiming to capture the TBS Championship from Mercedes Mone but has faced many setbacks. At Worlds End PPV, Mercedes Mone successfully retained her TBS Championship against Kris Statlander.
However, the match has made history for being the longest women's match in the company's history. Mone and Statlander wrestled for 24 minutes and 35 seconds. On X (formerly known as Twitter), Mercedes Mone addressed the remarkable achievement at Worlds End:

Bully Ray claims no star in AEW can bring out the best in Mercedes Mone
Mercedes Mone arrived in All Elite Wrestling at Big Business Dynamite earlier this year. She won the TBS Title in her debut and has proven to be a dominant champion, giving fans some great matches against opponents like Kris Statlander, Britt Baker, Willow Nightingale, and more.
However, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has an interesting take on Mercedes Mone in All Elite Wrestling. The former Tag Team Champion claimed that even though Mone has a lot of money and creative freedom in Tony Khan's promotion, no other star in the company could bring out the best in The CEO:
“Yes, Sasha went to AEW where she’s making a considerable amount of money [and] has a considerable amount of money [and] has considerable more freedom than she did in the WWE. She’s positioned at the top but I don’t believe she’s able to be in the ring with anybody who is going to bring the best out of her.”
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Mercedes Mone in AEW.
