Earlier tonight on Dynamite, Mercedes Moné successfully defended her TBS Championship for the second time since capturing it as she faced a debuting star. This would be Zeuxis of CMLL.

At Forbidden Door, in a few weeks, The CEO is set to face Stephanie Vaquer in a Winner Takes All match. Both the TBS Championship and NJPW Strong Women's Championship will be up for grabs.
Zeuxis is Vaquer's tag team partner in CMLL, and the two luchadoras are current CMLL World Women's Tag Team Champions. La Diosa Guerrera was also making her AEW in-ring debut tonight.
It was an equal affair, with both stars showing off at key moments in the match. This included several near-falls from both sides.

Despite a great showing from Zeuxis, Mercedes Moné was able to pull through and hit her Moné Maker finisher for the win. She remains undefeated after three singles matches in AEW, and it remains to be seen who can slow her down.
Arguably, her biggest challenge will come from someone she is all too familiar with. Mercedes Moné and Stephanie Vaquer have clashed in the ring before but never as champions, and with the stakes being what they are, it is all down to whoever has better composure in the ring.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
