Mercedes Moné has discussed Ronda Rousey calling out WWE after departing the promotion. Mercedes left WWE in 2022 and has been a top star in AEW since arriving in March 2024. The current TBS Champion has established herself as a top star in a short amount of time in the company.

The Baddest Women on the Planet left WWE after her loss against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. After her departure, she launched her own book 'Our Fight: A Memoir', where she wrote about her time in WWE. She made some shocking revelations about her behind-the-scenes experiences in the promotion and brutally criticized some of the higher authorities.

While speaking with Maggie and Perloff, Mercedes Moné was asked if she read Ronda Rousey's book. She responded:

"That's her experience. Get the book if you want to read that. I had a great experience there. I even had a great experience wrestling Ronda. She said she had a great time and great matches out there," she said.

Further, when asked about her comments on the former UFC Fighter's criticism of WWE in the book, the CEO said the latter should've improved the product, rather than condemning it.

"Me and Ronda are completely different when it comes to our views for women's wrestling. I am the standard, the blueprint, for a reason. I love and respect this game so much. I'm ready to fight and do everything I can for women's wrestling. I know Ronda coming in did help a lot because of how big of a name she was in UFC and really fighting for women in that culture. I would only hope she would come to WWE to improve it and not talk bad about it," Mercedes said. (H/T Fightful)
