AEW star Mercedes Mone heaped praise on Kris Statlander
Kris Statlander is a former TBS Champion, and the female star looked to reclaim the title from Mercedes Mone at last month's Full Gear PPV. However, Mercedes Mone defeated her to continue her dominant reign.
In her Mone Mag weekly, Mercedes Mone stated that her match with Statlander was the second favorite of her entire career. She praised Kris Statlander for her willpower and called her a force to be reckoned with in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
The jaw-dropping showdown between me and Kris Statlander. It might just be my second favorite match of my entire career! Kris Statlander truly impressed me. She embodies strength and determination, and I was blown away by her willpower. She brought everything she had to the ring, pulling out all the stops, trying to take me down. Her tenacity was something to behold, and it’s clear that she’s a force to be reckoned with in the AEW women’s division," she wrote.
We will have to wait and see if Kris Statlander gets another opportunity at the TBS Title in the future.
