Mercedes Mone has been crushing it since moving to AEW, and it's only getting better for her. Just 37 days into her tenure with Tony Khan’s company, she has reached yet another milestone.
The former WWE star debuted in AEW with a new theme song aptly titled "CEO." She has now revealed that her theme song has been streamed 1.2 million times across platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music.
She sent out a message on X/Twitter, thanking her fans for making the song such a success.
“WE DID IT #MONÉMAKERS!!!! 🤑 CEO has now reached over 1.2M streams across platforms! This would not have been possible without all of you 🫶🏾 Thank you so much! Big things are coming this year and I can’t wait to share them with y’all!” Mone wrote.
Mercedes Mone shares throwback photo with Adam Copeland
On top of dominating the musical charts, Mercedes Mone shared the ring with former WWE Superstar Adam Copeland on Dynamite yesterday.
It was a full circle moment, and she later took to Twitter to share a throwback picture of herself with Copeland during his time in WWE. We can see a young Mercedes with Copeland, who was known as Edge back then.
She posted the picture and simply wrote:
“#AEWDynamite.”
That was in reference to what happened early on in the show on Wednesday. Mercedes came out to make the save after the House of Black attacked Copeland and his tag team partner for the night, Willow Nightingale.
Mone and Willow have a budding rivalry, and it will be interesting to see how it develops after the latter’s match against Julia Hart for the TBS Championship on AEW Dynasty.
