Mercedes Moné spent almost ten years working for Vince McMahon in WWE. Issues with the former Chairman, among others, led to Moné leaving in 2022. The current AEW star just gave a surprise response and revealed a favorite pastime when asked if she will be watching Netflix's upcoming docuseries.

The former Sasha Banks made her name in WWE. She left as its fourth Women's Triple Crown Champion and third Women's Grand Slam Champion. The inaugural Women's Tag Team Champion previously discussed her relationship with McMahon and disclosed a personal situation she had to keep from him. After leaving the Stamford-based company, the two-time Slammy Award winner worked for NJPW and Stardom, then debuted for AEW this past March.

Netflix will premiere its controversial "Mr. McMahon" docuseries on Wednesday. The Boss spoke with WFAN Sports Radio today and was asked if she plans on watching the docuseries about her former boss.

"Well, I haven’t been talking to anyone. I stay in my locker room, I stay in my lane but all I do know, I’m going to grab a blunt, I’m going to get some wine, and I’m going to be watching some Netflix. I can’t wait," Mercedes Moné said. [H/T to F4W]

Moné was then asked about the "blunt" she plans to smoke while watching the six-episode series. She acknowledged her cousin, Celebrity WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg, and said marijuana runs through her veins.

"Yeah, I’m Snoop Dogg’s cousin. It’s in my blood. It runs in my veins. ... I’m a professional wrestler and THC helps me with my inflammation so much, and my inspiration. It helps me recover," Mercedes Moné said.

McMahon issued a viral statement on the Netflix docuseries this week. One of Moné's AEW colleagues just had a very interesting take on McMahon's situation and a potential video response to the project from Ringer Films.

Mercedes Moné update for AEW Grand Slam

All Elite Wrestling will return to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NYC on Wednesday. The company will air the fourth annual Dynamite: Grand Slam special live and then will tape the inaugural Collision: Grand Slam.

Several major matches and segments are now booked for Grand Slam. However, Mercedes Moné has not been announced. While the current AEW TNT Champion and NJPW Strong Women's Champion has not been confirmed, an appearance seems likely as the company had her out doing media interviews today to promote the show.

"Grand Slam media day #AEW #AEWGrandSlam [heart emoji] [money-mouth face emoji]," she wrote with the photos below.

Moné's last match was the win over Hikaru Shida at All Out on September 7, which came two weeks after she retained over Britt Baker at All Out. Mercedes retained her NJPW title for the first time on August 30 at Capital Collision, defeating Momo Watanabe in the main event.
