A former AEW Women's World Champion got a heartfelt message from current TBS Champion Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) amid her injury announcement. Mone sent the message through a comment on a social media post.
The former champion in question is none other than Riho. The 27-year-old star became the first ever All Elite Wrestling Women's World Champion after the promotion's inception in 2019. She made her TV return on Collision last Saturday and squared off against Lady Frost upon her return. Riho managed to emerge victorious in the end.
However, the Japanese star seemingly suffered an injury during her match on Collision while diving outside the ring. The women's champion later took to her Instagram handle to share that she suffered an injury sharing a picture of her fractured arm. She stated that despite fracturing her arm, she was doing well.
"I just fractured my arm but I’m doing very well❤️🔥"

Mercedes Mone got a major challenge for AEW All In 2024
Mercedes Mone successfully defended her TBS Title and also became the new NJPW Strong Women's Champion by defeating CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer at the recent AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door.
While Mone was celebrating her win, she was interrupted by a returning Dr. Britt Baker. On the following Wednesday on Dynamite, Baker challenged Mone for a big match at All in 2024.
However, Mercedes told Britt to get to the back of the line.
Moreover, the TBS Champion is yet to officially accept the challenge presented by Baker. Only time will tell how the story between the two top stars develops in the coming weeks.
