Mina Shirakawa responds to Mariah May's heel turn on Toni Storm

Mariah May shockingly turned heel on this week's episode of Dynamite. She attacked her long-time mentor, Toni Storm, on the show.

This week's edition of Dynamite featured the finals of the Owen Hart Cup. In the men's division, Bryan Danielson defeated 'Hangman' Adam Page to earn a shot at Swerve Strickland's AEW World Championship at All In 2024. Meanwhile, May faced Willow Nightingale and successfully defeated her to reign supreme in the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

The 25-year-old will now face Toni Storm in London, England, on August 25. On Dynamite, Mariah May briefly celebrated her victory with Storm before showing her true colors. She brutally attacked the Women's World Champion and Luther, cementing her heel turn.

On X/Twitter, Mina Shirakawa recently reacted to May turning heel and attacking Toni Storm. She was shocked by her long-time friend's actions.

"Nooooooo!! Noooooooooooooooooo!! NooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO!!! I can't sort out my feelings," Shirakawa wrote.

AEW star reacts to Mariah May's heel turn

Following Dynamite, AEW star Anthony Bowens also commented on Mariah May's unexpected attack on Toni Storm. He was surprised to see the upstart assault her now-former mentor.

In the past, May has made many advances toward the Acclaimed member but hasn't had much success in wooing him. After witnessing the 25-year-old's actions on Wednesday, Bowens was seemingly disturbed. He even rejected going out on a date with the female star in the future.

"Ok, soooo we definitely ARE NOT going on that date now... WTF @MariahMayx."

No one had anticipated such a drastic turn of events on Dynamite. With All In 2024 inching closer, the rivalry between Storm and May will likely get much more intense in the coming weeks. It will be interesting to see how the former WWE star will react to May's betrayal.
