Miro sent a two-word message to a former WWE Champion. He has a storied history with this star. The name in question is none other than Jinder Mahal.

Jinder Mahal was released from WWE on April 19, 2024. He has since returned to the independent scene under his real name, Raj Dhesi. He made his name for himself in the Indies from 2014 to 2016. After his 90-day non-compete clause expired, he made his debut for Game Changer Wrestling on July 19 by attacking Effy after his match.

The Modern Day Maharaja celebrated his 38th birthday on July 19. He posted that he was happy to celebrate turning 38 years old. Under that, AEW star Miro commented and sent a birthday wish to his former tag team partner.

“Happy birthday,” Miro wrote.

Miro and Jinder Mahal were tag team partners for a brief time in World Wrestling Entertainment. They made their debut as a tag team in December 2016, but that did not last long. They wrestled together for a few months and disbanded in March 2017.

WWE legend Booker T thinks Jinder Mahal might move to AEW

Hall of Famer Booker T has revealed that he thinks Jinder Mahal might be lobbying for a move to AEW.

Despite his release, The Modern Day Maharaja is still a great wrestler and could be a decent signing for Tony Khan. While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booket T said:

"I see Jinder lobbying man, trying to you know perhaps move towards being All Elite. He made some kind comments towards Tony Khan, that's a start, that's a start, that's where you want to start, right? As well as, of course, Jinder Mahal can go anywhere in the world and work."

If he does indeed sign up with AEW, he will join a long list of former WWE Champions who are now part of Tony Khan’s promotion. This will also open up many opportunities for him to have great matches with a host of talented wrestlers.
