El Toro Blanco was in action on the June 12, 2024, edition of Dynamite. The Mexican star took on Deonn Rusman in singles competition. The match did not last long however, as the former ROH World Champion defeated Rusman quickly and in dominant fashion.
After the bout, RUSH grabbed a mic from Justin Roberts. He then went on to insult the fans in the Wells Fargo Arena at Des Moines, IA, and launch a post-match attack on Rusman. However, he would be interrupted by MJF, who ran down to the ring to brawl with the 35-year-old star, one week after their promo battle and physical confrontation at Loveland, CO. Security tried to break up the fight between the two wrestlers, but were taken out by the RUSH and MJF, who took their battle outside the ring and into the crowd.

The brawl eventually spilled into the backstage area, where RUSH flung a trough at Friedman, although the former AEW World Champion responded by slamming the LFI leader through a table. The fight would finally be broken up successfully by staff and security.
AEW has since announced that Friedman and RUSH will square off on Dynamite next week.
