MJF recently responded to a fan on social media who praised an absent top AEW star. The latter is none other than Kenny Omega.

The Salt of the Earth, then the reigning AEW World Champion, took on The Cleaner in a title bout on the October 28, 2023 edition of Collision. The winner of the match would go on to officially be the longest-reigning World Champion of the promotion. The hard-hitting, evenly-matched bout saw Friedman dig deep into his bag of tricks and show remarkable resilience against The Best Bout Machine. Ultimately, he secured the victory over Omega and continued his title run, which would end later that year at the Worlds End pay-per-view.

Notably, Omega stepped away from action in December 2023 due to a severe diverticulitis infection, returning earlier this year only to be taken out by the new iteration of The Elite. Although he has recently been spotted training with his long-time tag partner and fellow AEW star Kota Ibushi, there is no exact information on when Omega will return to the ring.

Recently, on X/Twitter, a user shared a highlights clip from the October 2023 AEW World Title bout between MJF and Kenny Omega, emphasizing the quality of the latter's gutsy performance despite probably suffering from the effects of the illness that led to his current hiatus. The Wolf of Wrestling, seemingly in character, commented under the clip, reminding fans of his victory over the Canadian star:

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Beat him," wrote MJF.

MJF was confused by an AEW stipulation for a major bout

Ahead of the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite, AEW announced a major Title-for-Title match between the World Champion Bryan Danielson and Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, with the latter's belt set to be on the line only for the first twenty minutes of the bout.

Even though the unique stipulation was consistent with the 20-minute time limit traditionally imposed for Continental Title matches, MJF voiced his confusion about it ahead of Dynamite on X/Twitter.

"Guys, I had to stop what I was doing to read this graphic. After reading it repeatedly for a full 8 hours I’ve come to the conclusion ... No human being can possibly comprehend this stipulation. It’s impossible. @NASA @AlbertEinstein @TheTweetOfGod Plz help!" MJF wrote.

Although The American Dragon failed to dethrone Okada for the Continental Championship, he did pin The Rainmaker to retain his world title this Wednesday.

MJF, on the other hand, has been missing from All Elite programming since being destroyed by Daniel Garcia, albeit after having beaten the latter at All Out 2024.
