The latest episode of AEW Dynamite revealed MJF's opponent for All In 2024. The talent in question is none other than Will Ospreay.
The Wolf of Wrestling defeated the English star for the latter's AEW International Championship in a fifty-plus minute barn-burner on the 250th episode of Dynamite. Some time ago, it was revealed that Friedman will be defending the belt against CMLL star Templario on the promotion's show on August 2. Now, it seems like he will be involved in a re-match against The Aerial Assassin next month in Wembley Stadium.
On the July 24, 2024, episode of Dynamite, MJF opened the show with one of his patented incendiary promos, taking several personal shots against Will Ospreay, before discarding the International Title, which he won from the latter, tossing it into a garbage can. He then unveiled a brand new design for the championship, re-christening it the American Title.
In the midst of Friedman celebrating his triumph and his new championship, The Salt of the Earth would be chased off by Ospreay. The former AEW World Champion scrambled out of the ring before The Commonwealth Kingpin rehashed the underhanded manner of Friedman's victory over him. He then revealed that he had spoken to Tony Khan and Christopher Daniels and secured a re-match for the International Title against MJF at AEW All In 2024.
It remains to be seen whether MJF or Will Ospreay will emerge victorious in Wembley Stadium next month. The winner is likely to have PAC waiting next for a title shot.
