MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) is the reigning International Champion in AEW. But his title reign might be in serious jeopardy, according to wrestling analyst Sam Roberts.
On the 250th edition of AEW Dynamite, The Wolf of Wrestling took on Will Ospreay for the International Title. At the end of a long and grueling battle that went on for nearly an hour, Friedman defeated The Aerial Assassin to become the new champion.
On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts commented on Friedman vs. Ospreay. He said the two stars might come face-to-face again at All In 2024 for a title rematch. Roberts highlighted that if the 31-year-old decided to hit his popular Tiger Driver 91 on the champion, then the latter could lose his gold.
"MJF as a heel, defends that title against Will Ospreay at All In. I think that's the only thing that's got to happen and the one thing that I have to wonder is (...) is that going to be kind of the climax of this Tiger Driver 91 story? Is MJF going to be the one that eats the Tiger Driver 91? If so, there are two ways to do it. Either if you're not doing a move like that because you don't want to injure people then you can do a move like that on somebody like Swerve [Strickland] and win or lose you just turned heel because people know what you did."

Roberts further predicted how a potential rematch between Friedman and Ospreay could play out.
"But maybe because it's someone like MJF and you spend from now until All In convincing people that he deserves it, convincing people that out of everyone on this roster, that's the guy that deserves Tiger Driver 91. That if you can do that and you should do that when you get to Wembley you can get into a position where he locks in the Tiger Driver and people start going crazy because they're like, 'Yes he's finally gonna do it,' and that's the move that Osprey beats MJF on."
