AEW American Champion MJF recently addressed a current WWE titleholder on X/Twitter. The star in question is none other than NXT Champion Ethan Page.
The 34-year-old left AEW and made his shocking NXT debut in May 2024. He targeted then-NXT Champion Trick Williams upon his arrival. However, Page failed to capture the title at NXT Battleground 2024. In a shocking turn of events, All Ego became the NXT Champion at the Heatwave Premium Live Event by defeating Trick Williams, Shawn Spears, and Je'Von Evans last month.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), MJF reacted to Ethan Page's post while in character and called All Ego a great American.
"A great American," he tweeted.

NXT Champion Ethan Page recently addressed jumping ship from AEW to WWE
All Ego shocked fans after making his debut on NXT, launching a brutal attack on Trick Williams in the process. Ethan Page was signed to AEW from 2021 to 2024, but he arguably did not reach his full potential as he was barely used in major storylines by the promotion. He was also featured on AEW's sister brand, Ring of Honor.
In a recent interview with Talk'n Shop, Ethan Page called AEW unorganized and chaotic while comparing the backstage environment of his former workplace with the WWE locker room.
"I went from somewhere that was so chaotic and unorganized to a place that, I mean I’m still learning because I’m still so new here, but this is a machine and it’s incredible. It feels good to not feel like I have to do everything myself. To have people that want to see me succeed is kind of mind-blowing." [H/T: Cultaholic Wrestling]
Ethan Page seems to be in the right position since he debuted on the NXT brand. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him when he eventually moves up to the main roster.
