A budding independent wrestler who has performed several times in AEW was recently announced as one of the recipients of a WWE ID deal. The talent in question, Bryce Donovan, and his latest accomplishment have elicited a two-word response from Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF).

Late last month, the sports entertainment juggernaut announced the launch of its new developmental program, WWE ID. This program plans to extend enhanced training and developmental resources to select independent schools and talent. Furthermore, top indie wrestlers with the promotion's "ID" designation will be "supported" as they mature and gather experience in the industry, potentially even leading to a WWE contract.

World Wrestling Entertainment recently announced several names who will enjoy the perks of the new program, including Bryce Donovan. The latter has incidentally competed in an All Elite ring several times - against former AEW World Champion and fellow Create a Pro graduate MJF in 2021 and multiple singles and tag team matches on AEW Dark and Dark Elevation in 2022.

The Salt of the Earth recently took to his Instagram story to post a graphic of Donovan's WWE ID designation announcement with a simple two-word caption, presumably endorsing the up-and-coming star.

"Be shook," MJF wrote as a caption.

What MJF has been up to in AEW lately

The Wolf of Wrestling has not wrestled since defeating and being destroyed by Daniel Garcia at All Out 2024. Friedman returned to AEW to attack The Red Death at WrestleDream last month but would be chased off by a returning Adam Cole, who has been hunting for his former tag partner since.

The Panama City Playboy is not alone, however, in going after the former American Champion - so his is Undisputed Kingdom stablemate Roderick Strong, who is currently also in the race to pick up three wins for a shot at MJF at Full Gear, as per The Devil's stipulation.

Adam Cole is scheduled to face International Champion Konosuke Takeshita next week. It remains to be seen how and whether The Undisputed Kingdom stablemates can secure a match with MJF at Full Gear.
