MJF's next opponent for AEW World's End 2024 was confirmed this week. The former AEW World Champion has now sent a message about the match.
Ever since Adam Cole was cleared to compete, he has made it clear that he wanted to get his hands on Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Even Roderick Strong made it clear that he wanted to face the former AEW World Champion. Hence, in typical MJF fashion, he made the two friends indulge in a race to win three singles matches first to determine who would face the 28-year-old. While Strong won his three bouts, Cole was only able to win two.

Hence, Strong faced Maxwell at Full Gear on November 23 and came up short. Cole got another chance to face Maxwell by competing in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale last week. The Panama City Playboy and Kyle O'Reilly were the final two members in the battle royale and hence, they faced each other this week on Dynamite. The 35-year-old was able to come out on top and will finally face Maxwell at AEW World's End 2024.

Adam Cole's feud with MJF has been going on for months. However, this rivalry had to be paused for several months due to Cole's injury. As a result, this storyline lost all its momentum and has received a lot of criticism for the way it has been revived over the past few months.
Adam Cole addressed his feud with MJF during a recent interview on The Danny Ocean Show stating that his story with his former tag team partner needs a definitive ending. However, Cole admitted that this feud had lost a lot of momentum in recent months.
"I just feel that the story that me and MJF told needs a definitive conclusion. Coming back from injury, that’s exactly what I’m hopping into. Of course, you want to make as many people happy as possible.
