MJF shares an update amid AEW absence

MJF has shared an interesting update amid his current AEW absence. This will no doubt get the fans talking and get them excited for what is ahead.

The former AEW World Champion had been in the thick of things till All Out. At All In, he lost his American Title to hometown hero Will Ospreay in Wembley stadium. That happened after Daniel Garcia interfered in the match, which enabled Ospreay to pick up the win.

Then, at All Out, Maxwell took on Daniel Garcia in a grudge match and came out on top. Since then, he has not been seen in the company. He has now posted an update amid his absence and it could be a precursor for what is ahead.

He took to his Instagram Stories to post a picture of himself after an intense workout and flexing to show off his muscles. Going by the picture, Maxwell is well on track to come back stronger than ever before.

Eric Bischoff compares Dominik Mysterio to MJF

MJF is a big heel in AEW and he thrives off the negative reaction he gets from the fans. Someone smilar to him in WWE is Dominik Mysterio.

Dominik is a star who already evokes a strong response from the fans and Eric Bischoff has now claimed that he is WWE’s answer to the AEW star. He was speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast when he said:

“I like that. Um, Dominik - my God. Like, I’ll be honest, when they first started pushing… I want to say pushing, but when I first saw Dom on WWE TV, I was like, ‘Well, at least he’s getting to experience an opportunity.’ Holy cr*p, he’s not only experiencing it, he’s so capitalizing on it. He’s so good as a heel. It’s like we were talking about MJF last week - you know, MJF, I think, loves being a heel. Some people do, very few people do, because it goes against human nature, and I think Dominik is WWE’s answer to Maxwell, especially when it comes to getting heat."

Many feel Bischoff was accurate in his assessment of Dominik and they could see the parallel between the two stars.
