MJF has quickly become one of the biggest babyfaces in all of AEW, but did the reigning World Champion spoil the surprise signing that Tony Khan spoke about on social media?

Khan has caught a lot of flak for his numerous "Huge Announcements," but yesterday, he interestingly revealed that a major name would become All Elite at Full-Gear. While fans naturally took to social media to discuss who they thought would join the promotion, MJF interestingly shared his own speculation.

Commenting on Tony Khan's original tweet, Friedman suggested that the new addition will be Flip Gordon. The 31-year-old is best known for his tenures in ROH and NJPW, and he has a large online fan following.

While an argument could be made for Flip Gordon being the highly anticipated new signing, the star recently penned a deal with Mexican promotion CMLL. His contract with the promotion isn't clear, so there might be a window for him to appear in both promotions. However, CMLL isn't too happy with AEW's relationship with Lucha Libre AAA since the two promotions have bad blood between each other.

MJF might have a smaller role in The Iron Claw biopic than fans were anticipating

Friedman is set to star as Lance Von Erich in the upcoming Iron Claw biopic about the Von Erich family. While Lance wasn't related to the family, it seems like MJF's role in the movie is also not prominent.

According to film critic Siddhant Adlakha, The Salt of the Earth appears in only a single shot.

"MJF is in exactly one shot in The Iron Claw and he basically plays himself."

Friedman has since confirmed that he's not only starring in the film but that he's also an executive producer. This could explain why he doesn't have a more prominent role, but either way, this film will likely open the doors to Hollywood for the AEW World Champion.
