Kenny Omega returned to AEW at Worlds End 2024, days before making his in-ring return at Wrestle Dynasty 2025. Former All Elite Women's Champion Thunder Rosa recently remarked on the comeback of "The God of Pro-Wrestling."
Kenny Omega put on an unbelievable display against budding NJPW star Gabe Kidd this past weekend in the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Dynasty. The Best Bout Machine subsequently returned to AEW Dynamite this week, cutting a heartfelt promo wherein he reflected on his recovery from career-threatening diverticulitis and voiced his resolve to live up to his moniker and reputation.
Former AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa discussed Omega's return to the squared circle and his All Elite comeback on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio. La Mera Mera praised his performance against Gabe Kidd in Japan and spoke of the 41-year-old as a foundational force behind the Jacksonville-based company.
"I haven't seen Kenny in so long and he looked absolutely amazing [on Wrestle Dynasty]," Thunder Rosa said. "I feel like Kenny's like the essence of AEW and why [All Elite Wrestling] was created."

Rosa also alluded to Kenny's involvement in developing the promotion's women's division at the time of her arrival.
"When I first came to AEW he was a big, big supporter of the women's division. I have a lot of respect for Kenny," Rosa said. [H/T - Wrestling Inc]
Notably, before Omega's confrontation with his old rival, 2024 Continental Classic winner Kazuchika Okada, at Worlds End, Rosa had pushed All Elite Wrestling Women's World Champion Mariah May to the limit in a Tijuana Street Fight over the belt, with The Glamour managing to retain her title.
Kenny Omega seemingly joined forces with another iconic rival on AEW Dynamite
In an impassioned address to the crowd on this week's episode of Dynamite, Kenny Omega confessed that he found his purpose in proving his mettle as one of the best in-ring competitors in the world. Unfortunately, The Cleaner's promo was interrupted by the arrival of his hated enemy and former manager, Don Callis.
Before The Invisible Hand could finish a sentence, however, Omega gave chase to him and started beating him down on the entrance stage. Callis' "family" - Brian Cage, Lance Archer, and Kyle Fletcher - made the save for him. The heel faction looked to brutalize the former World Champion, but the latter would be rescued by another victim of Callis' treachery - Will Ospreay.
It remains to be seen if The Aerial Assassin and the All Elite EVP will set aside their differences to take out their mutual enemies in The Don Callis Family.
