Like several other professional wrestlers, AEW star MVP is a huge boxing fan. Furthermore, the whole of The Hurt Syndicate watched Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson live from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson was better than expected. The bout was won by the YouTuber-turned-boxer and this result shocked millions across the globe. Many hated the showdown and believed that it was rigged because they didn't expect to see the legend lose. Interestingly, MVP stated that there was no foul play and the result was justified. Additionally, he called the match 'bad'.

"Nah. Not rigged. Just bad. But, we knew that was a very realistic possibility going in," wtote the veteran on X (FKA Twitter).

Montel Vontavious Porter is the manager of The Hurt Syndicate, which apart from him consists of Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. When they were signed to the WWE, they were known as The Hurt Business.

The faction was immensely popular in the Stamford-based company. Hopefully, they will achieve the same level of success in the Tony Khan-led promotion.

AEW star MVP recently revealed the criteria for joining The Hurt Syndicate

In a recent interaction between The Hurt Syndicate and Renee Paquette, Porter talked about adding more members to the faction. He stated that coachability is the most paramount factor required to join his stable.

"Well number one is coachability. They have to be coachable. Number two, they have to have swag, swagger, a sense of style and fashion because we are hashtag fashionably violent ... you can't have a nice pair of jeans. But I think the number one thing is coachability, athletic ability, and the desire to hurt people for money," said the fromer WWE star. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

MVP has not wrestled in a long time but he is still an immensely talented performer and manager.
